In Memory of Evans Pollock

Evans Pollock, 51, of 2330 Old Pelham Road, Pelham, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. Born on September 18, 1958 in Mitchell County, Georgia to the late Hubert and Mary Jane Poitevint Pollock, he was married to the former Cindy Bentley, Evans was a Gideon, a member of the Union Grove Baptist Church and severed on the deacon board for Union Grove Baptist Church. He was the manager of Stone's Home Center in Camilla, Georgia. He is survived by his wife Cindy Bentley Pollock of Pelham, Georgia, sons Phillips Pollock and wife Brooke of Pelham, Georgia, Josh Pollock of Pelham, Georgia, daughter Kandi Harden and husband David of Pelham, Georgia, grandchilden Drew Harden, Kole Harden and Danyelle Pollock, all of Pelham, Georgia, brothers J.C. Pollock and wife Jessie of Camilla, Georgia, Winfred Pollock and wife Debbie of Leesburg, Georgia, sisters Dianna Humphries and husband Charles of Camilla, Georgia, Cindy Hurst and husband Stan of Pelham, Georgia, numerous nieces and newphews. Funeral Services were held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at Union Grove Baptist Church. with Rev. Doug Hall, Rev. Steve Wooten and Rev. Wayne Burdeshaw officating. Honorary pallbears were the deacons of Union Grove Baptist Church with active pallbarrers being Robin Willis, Terry Willis, Kirk Pollock, Jason Santos, Mark Humphries, Bradley Pollock, Dillon Bentley and Mike Newsome. Interment followed in the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Evans served as manager of our store in Camilla for over 9 years and will be greatly missed in the Stone's family. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
