James W. Stone opened Stone’s Home Center on April 17, 1959

in Bainbridge, Georgia.

The business was first located in the warehouse at 524 Webster St. and operated as a retail store selling electrical, plumbing and paint supplies.

Through the years the business has expanded to (9) locations and operates as a full line Home Center, complete with Hardware, Building Materials,

Design and Interior accessories.
